An introduction of sorts

I've been knitting for about a year and crocheting for about 5 or so years. I'm not overly good at knitting yet, I haven't been doing it long enough (or often enough) to get into the more advanced technics and things but for the most part i can follow a pattern and though i can't really design things I do have the ability to modify patterns to my liking and I can design my own cables but that's pretty much it. I'm decently good at designing as far as crochet but I've somewhat fallen out of love with it since picking up knitting, I do still crochet though when I need to for a quick gift or just to take a break from knitting.
